This year will see 28 concerts performed between now and November by a range of artists from across the country.
Manchester Reed Trio, made up of Bethan Roberts, Rachel Fillhart and Sarah Nixon, took to St Mary's Church in the town to mark the launch of the event last Saturday.
The band, who have performed all over the UK, came together in Stafford to perform a concert of chamber music and commemorate the first concert in the new decade and remember a well-loved member of the church.
John Savage, organiser of the concerts, said: "The Manchester Reed Trio have been very popular with our audiences, they performed some familiar music as well as something a little different.
"The concert was financed more or less completely by a donation in memory of one of our regular audience members, Paul Slater.
"Paul was a member of the congregation here at St Mary's for many many years and a real lover of music."
The coffee concerts will feature performances from local and national musicians and give guests a chance to enjoy professional live music performed by a variety of musicians, while catching up with friends over a hot drink.
Coffee is served from 10.30am with the performer taking to the stage at 11am.
The next concert is coming up on Saturday, January 18 and will see Three Js Piano Trio take to the church's stage.
All of the funds raised from this concert will be donated to Katharine House Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support.
