Harry Maguire Told To Be Proud Of Immense World Cup Displays By Ex England Defender, Team Mates And Fans

The pain and anguish at missing out on a World Cup final was etched across the face of former Hull City and current Leicester City defender Harry Maguire.

The centre-back has been immense all tournament, emerging as a national hero with his performances and in particular his goal against Sweden in the World Cup quarter-final.

After the match Maguire took to social media to say how disappointed he was at going out after Croatia came from behind to beat England 2-1 in the semi-final.

He wrote: "Devastated. absolutely gutted. Thanks to the fans for your incredible support."
