21-year-old reality TV-star and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner has made it to the Forbes power list of America’s 60 richest self-made women. “America’s top female entrepreneurs have shattered ceilings and scaled new heights, creating companies and building fortunes in everything from genetic testing to aerospace. Increasingly these self-made starters are tapping social media to cement their brands and build businesses even more quickly. That, in turn, has helped the nation’s most successful women become richer than ever before. ” Forbes said.
Kylie is the youngest in this list who turns 21 in August. Half-sister of Kim Kardashian West, who is also on the list for the first time, Jenner has leveraged her massive social media following (110 million followers on Instagram) to build a USD 900 million cosmetics empire Kylie Cosmetics in less than three years. Kylie Kristen Jenner being the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner family is an American TV personality, entrepreneur, model and socialite. She has starred in the Entertainment Television with the popular television series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” since 2007. In 2012, collaboratively with her sister Kendell, she has created a line of clothing Kendall & Kylie. Within the next two years, Jenner has launched her own cosmetics called Kylie Cosmetics. In 2017, Jenner was placed on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list, the youngest person featured on the list. Kylie starred on her own spin-off series – Life of Kylie which premiered on Entertainment Television on August 6, 2017.
