Trinity To Mark Church’s 125th Anniversary

Trinity Lutheran Church, 4200 Old Warren Road, will celebrate its 125th anniversary at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 20. The Rev. David Bahn, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church at Cypress, Texas, will be the featured speaker, according to a news release.

Trinity’s first church was built at Florida Street and Sixth Avenue. In 1939, the congregation moved to a new church at Pine Street and 15th Avenue. In 1973 they moved to a new building at their present location, according to the release.

Bahn was the pastor at Trinity from 1983-1993. The Rev. Dean Clausing, who was pastor from 2000-2016, will be assisting, as well as the Rev. Rick Rostek, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Norton, Kans.

Deacon Don Richter from Trinity will also be assisting and the Rev. Stewart Marshall, the current pastor of Trinity, will be the Celebrant for the Sacrament.
